  • RODDY PIPER spent his formative years in the Royal Regiment of the Scottish Army. He earned the nickname “Rowdy” by clashing with his senior instructors and pummeling his teammates during combat exercises. This aggressive attitude allowed him to excel in the disciplines of close-proximity fighting. He became an expert with explosives, small arms, and hand-to-hand combat at a higher tactical level than most soldiers. This natural talent helped him win top honors from his Infantry unit and a position as Senior Drill Instructor.
