- Terence, the Big Brother Bird is a character in the Angry Birds series of games created by Rovio Entertainment. He was first introduced in 2010 and was the second new character added to the game who was not one of the original five birds in the Flock. An entire episode was dedicated to his introduction. In theFuji TV exclusive episode Sakura Ninja, Terence appears dressed in a sumo costume. This was the first time he has appeared in costume in any game, and completely new game sprites were created for this episode. In the film, he growls and stares at other birds, like in the game and toons. He is Red's big brother. He is voiced by Sean Penn.
- Terence is one of the male protagonists from the Disney Fairies films. He is a dust-keeper sparrow man and Tinker Bell's best friend. He is romantically infactuated towards Tinker Bell, however, she is oblivious of this.
- Terence, known as Yuji Kubo in the Japanese version, is a character appearing in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force series. In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Tag Force 4-6, his name is given to Shuji Kubota.
- When Terence was about 14 he met Gawain , who had not yet been knighted, in the woods and invited him back to his house for supper. In return, Gawain gave Terence a longbow and showed him how to use it. After they finished eating, a knight named Sir Hatubris came and demanded food. When he was told that there wasn't any, he threatened Gawain with his sword. Gawain defended himself with the only weapon he had; the stewpot Terence had made dinner in. Gawain defeated Sir Hatubris .
- "Best to be prepared. Too much beats none at all." - An old Dust-talent proverb. Terence says it as he gives dust to Gwendolyn Carlisle in Fairies and the Quest for Never Land. Terence is a Dust-talent sparrowman. He has one of the most important jobs in Pixie Hollow: each day, he rises before dawn to help hand out Pixie Dust to the other fairies. Never Fairies need at least one teacup of dust each day in order to fly and do magic. Though he loves to have fun, he also is kind and thoughtful, and has great wisdom of the heart. He is very friendly, and has many friends. He sparkles more than most other fairies because he works with Fairy Dust.
- Terence first appeared in the Railway Series story “Thomas, Terence and the Snow” from the book Tank Engine Thomas Again (1949). In this story, he is portrayed with a widow’s peak – the guise that would be used as the basis for the TV series character. Terence is the only named character in The Railway Series to have caterpillar tracks, although a nameless orange crane with caterpillar tracks is seen in C. Awdry's “Washout”.
