- Changelings are a race native to Eberron. They are shapechangers, a term for a people able to assume features of other humanoids. They are also know as doppelgangers, however this term is considered derogatory and should not be used in the presence of a changeling (though if they are disguised it would be hard to tell). Unfortunately, changelings' talents breed mistrust and fear, leading many of them to hide their true nature from even their closest companions. Many changelings seek only to avoid unwanted attention and to find a place in the world.
