Nejčastější základní build Xelora je agi/wis (kombinace poškození Frostbite a Shriveling/kradení AP a odrážení poškození), agi a int (Hand, Dark Ray, Xelor's Sandglass, Temporal Dust). Poslední zmíněný je uváděn jako nejjednodušší způsob vedení Xelora díky velkému množství ohnivých spellů na nižších levelech, ale v praxi tolik int Xelorů nepotkáte.
