The Death Star Salvage Site was a salvage site in the jungles of Yavin 4. When the Rebel Alliance destroyed the Imperial Death Star near the moon, its debris rained down onto the jungle world. Some of the debris hit this location. The impact created a crater, while the surrounding jungle burned down. A salvage team led by the Selonian Nagem Dr'Lar set up a camp in this crater where they collected debris from the enormous space station to sell it to the Galactic Empire.

Some of the debris hit this location. The impact created a crater, while the surrounding jungle burned down. A salvage team led by the Selonian Nagem Dr'Lar set up a camp in this crater where they collected debris from the enormous space station to sell it to the Galactic Empire. In 1 ABY, a spacer met Nagem Dr'Lar at this location and agreed to help the Selonian with several tasks. Another individual was sent to the salvage site by Osae Meilea of the Hutt Expeditionary Force to stop Dr'Lar's operations.
