The Skirmish near Ankarr was a small engagement of the Cruentusian War. It occured when a small Necasian flotilla investigating the Srav occupation of Ankarr intercepted a Srav supply convoy heading from the planet. The two spaceborne forces briefly engaged, with the Necasians boarding several Srav transports to discover what was aboard. Necasian marines managed to take a number of stolen Zayre artifacts, among them the Hand of Darkness, which would be later delivered to Askar Invado for his personal attention.
