Min and Max were the first henchmen employed by Two-Face. He knew them from his time as a D.A., and knew he could turn to them as he planned his revenge on Rupert Thorne. They raided a bookie joint first, and then went for Thorne's offices looking for incriminating evidence. They picked up Grace Lamont and brought her to Wild Deuce, an abandoned club, but they did not know Thorne was trailing them. He shot them both.
