The weirwood is a tree found in the Seven Kingdoms, with bone-white bark and dark red leaves. In the south, most weirwoods were cut down or burned out a thousand years ago, except on the Isle of Faces. Many weirwoods are carved with faces and set in godswoods; they are called "heart trees".
