Swenson was a science officer stationed on board the USS Enterprise-D in 2364. That year, a martial arts competition was to take place on the ship; among the participants were Swenson, Minnerly, and Natasha Yar. While Yar believed she could easily defeat Swenson in aikido, she was worried about meeting Minnerly in kickboxing. (TNG: "Skin of Evil" ) This character was only mentioned in dialogue.
