Tunstall's first film work was 1998's The Big Hit, which, like Deep Space Nine, starred Avery Brooks. Tunstall's subsequent film hair styling credits include Love & Basketball, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Matrix Reloaded, The Italian Job, and Dreamgirls. He was also a key hair stylist and later hair department head for the long-running television series ER.
