Infected Nightstalker Runts have ingested bits of the Exodar's power crystals causing them to become corrupted. Exarch Menelaous at Azure Watch fears this infection will spread if left unchecked, and asks many young adventurers to purge the forests of these infected cats (see File:Alliance 15.png [8] Nightstalker Clean Up, Isle 2...).
