Nuremburg is a town in Southern Germany. In the 1930s, it was the location of the Nazi Party rallies, the most famous of which being the 1934 Rally edited into Triumph of the Will. In a dash of irony, Nuremburg became the location of the trials of Nazi officials after the war. Today Nuremburg has about 500,000 inhabitants but the surrounding area has 2,000,000 inhabitants. Nuremburg is an industrial centre with a thousand year history and there are quite a few pretty old buildings. Promoters of the city say it's culturally and economically vibrant.
