Drann was a half-orc that had teamed up with Captain Dumont, Stonehoof, a tauren, Feulia, a half-Kaldorei archer, Makil, a goblin tinker, and two siblings, Renmar and Talario who were human mages. The companions had stolen a magic jar from a centaur camp in the Barrens after hearing of a legend. According to the legend, the jar would unlock untold riches in an ancient shrine nearby. They fought their way through centaur and quilboars to the shrine. Dumont had lost his life in the process.
