Kate is a villager in Harvest Moon DS. Besides Hugh, Kate is one of the only children living in the valley and often feels bored living in the valley. A bit mischievous, Kate is a handful to raise for her father Grant. Kate's mother up and left Grant, and Kate feels resentment towards her father, straining their relationship. Furthermore, Grant works long hours in the city which often leaves Kate at home alone.
