Grossmother Meadowdew was the Clan Chief of the Symbite Goblins of Hive and the chief Grossmother of the Gyle Palace. Morbidly obese even for a grossmother, Grossmother Meadowdew had seven sisters, and she gave gyle honey only to the wealthy. When the downtrodden citizens of Hive rose up against their council, Grossmother Meadowdew was toppled from power. Before this happened she was revered and residents of Hive believed that touching a fold of her skin would bring good luck to them.
