Rachel McAdams is a Canadian actress. She initially worked in Canadian television and film productions. In 2002, she made her Hollywood film debut in the comedy The Hot Chick. McAdams was a competitive figure skater until the age of 18 winning numerous regional competitions. She is an environmentalist and ran an eco-friendly lifestyle website GreenIsSexy.org with two of her friends for five years, from 2007 to 2011. McAdams tv appearanes include "Slings and Arrows" and the critically acclaimed HBO series "True Detective".
