Yansik won a Taurus World Stunt Award 2001 for best driving sequence in the film Gone in Sixty Seconds shared with fellow stuntman Chuck Picerni, Jr.. He is the personal stunt double for actor Nicolas Cage and doubled him in most of his films. He has also performed stunts in television series such as Nurses (1993, with Carlos Lacamara and Ada Maris) and The Practice (1998 and 1999, with John Larroquette).
