The twenty-second season of Dancing with the Stars premiered on March 21, 2016. Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews returned as hosts. After being absent last season Len Goodman be returning this season. After serving as a judge for the past two seasons, Julianne Hough will not be returning this season. Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba both returned as judges. The season finale marks the first time that the winner is announced outside.
