The Archipelago of Altumbel was a collection of islands off the coast of Altumbel, on the Sea of Fallen Stars. The islands were composed of coral and rock, and primarily contained fishing villages. There were numerous wizard towers on the islands, some of which were disused and some of which were still in use. Pirates also occupied the archipelago.
