Horne was credited as Associate Producer in Season 1, and Studio Producer in Season 2. He also executive produced the French co-production, 1, Rue Sésame, which began in 1978. Lutrelle F. Horne, Ed.D. was the former Executive Vice-President of Children's Television Workshop and Executive Producer and Director of its International Division. Dr. Horne was a native of Newport News, Virginia. He earned a BA degree in English from Hampton Institute (University) in 1958. He continued his education and earned a MA degree in Communications from New York University in 1963 and an Ed.D. in Education and Television from the University of Massachusetts.
