Tython was a planet in the Deep Core that served as the ancestral home of the Jedi Order until it became corrupted by the dark side. Despite this the Jedi returned here after the end of the Mezzilenic War in order to allow the Galactic Republic to chart their own course and they began to cleanse the world.
