The Induction Board was a part of the militarized government of Alanciar, a continent on the planet Kesh. The Alanciari who made up the Induction Board identified Keshiri who were sensitive to the Force so that they could be trained to become thoughtcriers, able to warn other Keshiri instantaneously through the Force in the event of an invasion by the Lost Tribe of the Sith, who inhabited the continent of Keshtah to the west.
