A MSTie (also seen as MiSTie, MySTie, or MiSTy) is a fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000. The earliest known offical use of the term was seen in Satellite News Issue 1.2. Many fan letters and other related mail are seen throughout the show's run as well as an address at the time for Best Brains to receive feedback from. The show's creators have acknowledged that the earliest stages of the internet also helped keep the show's spirit and appeal alive.
