Sir Juncan was able to stay out of the War of the Red Diamond, and believed that it was the knights getting into the wars of man that destroyed them. His spirit is first encountered by the Hero while he is looking for the Cuirass of the Crusader in the undercroft of the Priory of the Nine. If the Hero succeeds in his fight against Juncan and the other Knights, he will assist the Hero in finding the Relics, in particular the Boots. He will then point the Hero to a Shrine of Kynareth, where he would be able to obtain the Boots.
