Sekiton was a material which was excavated on the planet of Karbarra. When Kami was kept on the Invid occupied planet, he realized that the material would pass through the energy shield of the Invid when not surrounded by Karbarran DNA. He covered himself in the material and was able to slip out of the shields, eventually freeing the children and thus the planet. (Robotech II: The Sentinels: ...In The Night)
