In order to the use technique, Hashiro must first place the palms of his hands on the ground beneath him. Hashiro must then transfer large amounts of lightning chakra. The lightning chakra will then erupt into a strong shock wave which will burst out in the area surrounding him. The lightning will then move in an upward direction as it spreads out.
