Plundarr was a politically independent planet within Wild Space and frequently at war with the Thundercats of the rival, nearby planet Thundera. The native races of Plundarr were five kinds of Mutants: Reptilians, Jackalmen, Monkians, Vulturemen, and Ratmen. Historically, Plundarr allied with the Hutts, Sith, and Mandalorians simply because the Thundercats were allies of the Jedi and the Galactic Republic. During the Galactic Civil War, Plundarr provided mercenaries to aid the Galactic Empire against the Rebel Alliance.
