The Delta-7B was manufactured by Kuat Systems Engineering. The main difference between the Delta-7B and its predecessor, the Delta-7, was an enlarged center hull that allowed for an astromech droid station in front of the cockpit, rather than to the side of the cockpit. The relocation of the droid station allowed for the use of self-contained astromech droids, instead of the integrated ones used on the normal Delta-7. The Delta-7B possessed the same armament as the Delta-7.
