Brita Borg was a Swedish singer, actress and variety show artist. She began her career after winning a song competition organized by the magazine Vecko-Revyn in 1943. Two years later she formed the quartet Flickery Flies with Allan Johnansson, whom she later married. In 1959, she represented her home country at Eurovision in Cannes with the song "Augustin", which finished in ninth place. She died at the age of 83 on 4 May 2010.
