Simoeis was a Potamoi, a child of Okeanos & Tethys. Simoeis was a river-god of the Troad in northwestern Anatolia (which is now modern day Turkey). The Simoeis was one of several tributaries that flowed into the river Skamandros. Other tributaries included Heptaporos, and Kebren.
