At the time, Doriana was in charge of transporting an experimental prototype—the concept of which led to the World Devastators—along with a collection of Jedi relics to the Emperor's private storehouse on Wayland, up until he was diverted to Zeru Neiomoidia upon learning that Taskien had infiltrated the resistance and was poised to bring them down. Knowing Taskien's penchant for reckless behavior, he brought along Jana Rothery, a skilled physician. On Zeru Neimoidia, Doriana was able to stop the insurgent leader, Ardo Romierr, from fleeing his mountain fortress as it was overrun by Imperial troops, resulting in Romierr's capture.
