Ripley 8 is the eighth clone of Lieutenant Ellen Ripley produced 200 years after her death in an attempt to successfully gain access to the Queen Chestburster that had infested her (indicating that Xenomorphs must somehow alter the DNA of their hosts during their incubation). Because of the crossed DNA between host and parasite, each of the Ripley clones were in one way or another hybridized with Xenomorph genes. In Ripley 8's case, she possessed a connection to their hive mind, aggressive personality, increased strength, durability and corrosive acid for blood.
