Nala Se was a female Kaminoan doctor and scientist who served the Galactic Republic throughout the Clone Wars. As the Chief Medical Scientist of Kamino, her home planet, she was directly involved in the creation of the Grand Army of the Republic. She was also one of the few individuals who knew about Clone Protocol 66, a secret directive within the design of every clone trooper's inhibitor chip. During the war, Nala Se went to great lengths to preserve the secrecy of Protocol 66, believing it to be a contingency against rogue Jedi.
