Cratinus was an Ubdurian male and the identical brother of Prashee. The pair were fond of games of chance and would use their identical appearances to swap identities during profitable scams. Approximately thirty years after the Battle of Endor, both brothers were present in the castle of the pirate Maz Kanata on the planet Takodana. Cratinus and Prashee were laughing together at a table when the smuggler Han Solo entered with the scavenger Rey, the former stormtrooper Finn and the Astromech droid BB-8. Shortly after their arrival, many of the castle's patrons rushed outside to witness the destruction of the Hosnian system by the First Order's Starkiller Base superweapon.
