Bark Master was a Sphinxian treecat and the second elder of the Bright Water Clan in the early 20th Century PD. He was part of the council that decided whether Nimitz and Samantha should take a number of 'cats with them to settle on Grayson. Although he was originally strongly opposed to any opening-up to the humans, he was willing to discuss the matter, and in the end, he and other clan elders supported the plan. (HHA3.4: CoW)
