Hughes was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps. In 1903 PD, Hughes held the rank of Lieutenant, and was assigned to the Marine detachment aboard HMS Fearless. Lieutenant Hughes was a part of the assault team at the ground assault on Blackbird Base. (HH2)
