Tosui was a bushi of the Mantis Clan who retired as monk. He moved to the Valley of the Centipede, living in a small cave of the Mountain of Lady Sun. In 1160 Tosui was 138 years old, and he had lived on this mountain for almost a century, acknowledged as an open and friendly [[inkyo].
