The Third Sith Empire was an intergalactic empire created by Darth Shadus with the intention of bringing back the first and second empires. The Empire was created when he won the election in the Eighteenth Republic. The government was divided into three sections, the Imperial Hierarchy, the High Council and the Lower Parliament. It dissolved in 3055 ABY in the Democratic Revolution. The Imperial clan had twelve knights. Each Royal Clan twenty four. Each Lordship Clan had forty eight. And each Nobility Clan had seventy two. The Empire had a military greater than any other in galactic history.
