In RoboCop: The Series, Charles Coffey is a news correspondent for Mediabreak. He covers the hostage taking crisis at Convalescence Services in Old Detroit. He briefly interviews Sgt. Stan Parks about the escaped criminal William Ray "Pudface" Morgan, who has rigged the nursing home with explosives and the accident five years prior that left him scarred. He gets no comment from Officer Lisa Madigan once RoboCop arrives to apprehend the terrorist.
