The Njord-class Cruiser was one of the most common cruisers in the Navy of the Black Star Confederacy between 6 ABY and 14 ABY, when it was replaced by the Praxeum-class Strike Cruiser. It was one of two cruisers designed by the famous designer Hikos Tel'Anh. It was created for the role of a close support vessel. It could transport one squadron of fighters and 340 troops, as well as several ground vehicles.
