The Akahiro clan can draw its origins to an older, and far more feared clan of ninja called the Hakki Clan. The Hakki Clan were blessed with a Kekkei Genkai of fearsome power called the Bishomonten. In addition to this the Hakki clan possessed a nearly uncontrollable blood-lust. As a result of their aggression and great power the Hakki Clan became hated by their fellow ninja, and were hunted as a result. This combined with internal fighting would eventually lead to the Hakki Clan's extermination.
