Calmiriel was a Silvan elf, the sister of Lothiniel, daughter of Aroniril, and the mother of Tauriel. A brave warrior who was favored by Thranduil, Calmiriel married her future husband Tauressar, and gave birth to a daughter, naming her Tauriel. Sometime after her daughter was born, she accompanied with her husband to the southern borders on the Woodland Realm, but that was when they were ambushed by Orcs. Calmiriel fought bravely, but was overwhelmed and slain alongside her husband.
