The Beatles were (and thankfully, they were) a 1960's mophead band who felt that they wanted to come from Britain to America and friggin ruin music as it is, creating such simple songs that really sucked if you looked at them the right way. Their name came from their favor of beetles because they were gross.... And they changed "beet" to "beat" because they don't know how to spell. Apparently, from 1960-1979, they were considered really cool people, according to The Beatles, of course, because they wouldn't say that they sucked, even though they did.
