Dark Pit is a major character in Kid Icarus: Uprising. He was created by The Mirror of Truth when Pit steps in front of it to destroy it in Chapter 5: Pandora's Labyrinth of Deceit in Kid Icarus: Uprising. He originated from the black alternate costume for Pit from Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
