Chimpy is a green-eyed chimp who makes a small appearance in Banjo-Kazooie in Mumbo's Mountain. He hangs around near an orange tree guarded by a vicious gorilla named Conga. When Banjo and Kazooie meet him, he claims he wants an orange from Conga's tree, but he can't get it. Banjo then steals one of Conga's oranges and gives to Chimpy for a Jiggy. He then runs off raising a wodden platform for the pair so they may climb a nearby cliff.
