Point Of Departure is a fanfiction focusing on Starfleet Engineer Montgomery Scott from the time of Pike to after The Dominion War, in a series of vignettes. It is set in both the 23rd Century of TOS and the first six movies, as well as the 24th Century. It is written by Rob Morris. As the years and decades pass, Starfleet asks more and more of one man.
