The Belnar Insurrections were an event that took place sometime before the attack on Haidoral Prime. The starship Mandible was destroyed during this event as a result of carrying volatile cargo and suffering an accident caused by its drunken captain. Rather than admit this act of incompetence on the part of one of its officers, the Galactic Empire instead credited the vessel's destruction to Governor Everi Chalis as an act of punishment for the captain's incompetence. Chalis later mentioned the event to the crew of an Imperial freighter.
