Disguised as American serviceman "Washington", a Russian soldier accompanied his superiors, Colonel Dovchenko and Irina Spalko, to infiltrate Hangar 51 in Nevada in 1957. Washington moved to help his comrade Hoover restrain their captive, Indiana Jones, for Dovchenko to hit a second time but the arrival of Spalko stopped them. Later, during Jones's escape from the warehouse, Washington and four of his comrades were incinerated by the flames of an underground rocket sled that Dovchenko had unintentionally activated in his pursuit of the archaeologist.
