In 3,950 BBY, Selene and Dustil began to serve as loyal allies in the Republic Military while their children were raised by relatives to be kept safe. They would sometimes send holo messages to express their love for them. They received word from Carth Onasi that Bastila Shan returned, and revealed Revan's disappearance. Traveling to Coruscant, Selene and Dustil met up with Carth and agreed to serve in the strike team to find Revan.
