Koran was a Bajoran who lived on Bajor, whose parents were killed during the Bajoran Occupation. Koran and his two sisters, Sarjeno and Mardah, were raised by their neighbors thereafter. Koran was not exactly thrilled about Mardah's decision to become a dabo girl. Mardah, in turn, would tell Koran what she thought of his life and the two had since stopped speaking, as of 2371. (DS9: "The Abandoned") This character was only mentioned in dialogue. According to the script for "The Abandoned", Koran's name was pronounced as "KOR-an". [1]
